Age spots, sometimes called sun spots or skin lesions, are flat brown, gray, or black spots on the skin that usually occur on sun-exposed areas. They can occur due to a variety of reasons such as aging, sun damage and hormonal changes (such as during pregnancy). While not dangerous, they are unsightly.
