Skin tightening without a scar.
At Carruthers Cosmetic, we offer three non-invasive skin tightening treatments: Morpheus8 (for the body and face), Evoke (for the jawline, neck & chin), and Forma-I (for the eyes).
These treatments use the same radiofrequency (RF) technology: a deep fractional treatment that delivers RF energy to multi-level depths in a single cycle for customized skin, tissue, fat and collagen remodeling with reduced treatment time.
RF energy is carefully selected because it does not affect melanin, so people of all skin tones can enjoy the benefits of the tightening treatments. In addition, there is no laser plume from the treatment, so it is much safer than traditional laser skin tightening treatments such as Co2 and Erbium YAG treatments.
ABOUT MORPHEUS8: Also known as radiofrequency microneedling, Morpheus8 is a fractional skin treatment that stimulates collagen production of the underlying layers of the dermis. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, tissues of the face and body can be remodeled to reveal a more radiant youthful appearance.
ABOUT EVOKE: Evoke is an innovative non-invasive solution designed specifically to target facial wrinkles and fine lines. It is a quick and easy non-surgical alternative to remodel your face, neck, and jawline.
ABOUT FORMA-I: Forma-I delivers bipolar radiofrequency technology to smaller, more delicate subdermal layers to reduce periorbital wrinkles while simultaneously treating dry eyes.

What to Expect
The skin is numbed with a topical anesthetic cream before the procedure. Some patients also take a Tylenol. The procedure is done by Dr Jean Carruthers and takes 30-60 minutes. Most patients report a discomfort level of 0-2/10 and comment that there is no discomfort after the treatment session. Some pinkness and swelling may last up to 3 days.
The treatment is generally repeated every 3-4 weeks to achieve incremental improvement. Usually 3-6 treatment sessions are recommended. Maintenance treatments can be done yearly as necessary afterwards. A test patch may be requested to ensure treatment compatibility.
