The 3D MIRACL treatment is fast, typically performed in about 20 minutes.
Most patients find the treatment very tolerable, reporting a 2-3 out of 10 on the pain scale. Numbing and topical anesthetics are typically not required. Patients can hold a Zimmer cooling device to cool the skin as needed to minimize discomfort.
During the treatment, you may feel a warm, tingling, or light, prickly sensation on the skin as the device is passed over the skin. Most patients experience mild redness and a “sunburn” sensation immediately after, which resolves within 48 hours. Expect some light peeling over the following days as your skin renews itself.
You’ll leave with a simple post-care routine and be back to your regular schedule within 2–3 days.
A series of 1–3 treatments spaced a month apart is recommended for optimal results. Skin continues to improve in the weeks following each session as collagen is stimulated and pigmentation clears.
