Laser Coring is a more intensive procedure and is treated accordingly. Treatment time is typically 30-60 minutes including numbing. To manage pain, oral Tylenol and topical numbing are used to ensure patient comfort. For certain areas, injections of local anesthetic may be used. Zimmer cooler is offered to let patients cool their skin down as needed throughout the treatment.
Following treatment, patients should plan for 10-14 days of downtime. Significant redness, swelling, and peeling are expected and are signs that the skin’s deep remodeling response is underway. Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided, and our team will support you through recovery. By day 10–14, the skin will be healed enough for mineral sunscreen and most social settings.
